CSAA Insurance Group's A (Excellent) AM Best Rating Reaffirmed with Stable Outlook

Rating reflects company's financial strength and long-term commitment to serving AAA members

 

WALNUT CREEK, Calif., July 23, 2026 – CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA insurer, today announced that AM Best has reaffirmed the company's Financial Strength Rating of A (Excellent) with a stable outlook. The company has maintained a rating of A or higher for more than 90 years. 

The annual rating reflects AM Best's independent evaluation of CSAA Insurance Group's financial strength and ability to meet its ongoing obligations to policyholders. AM Best recognized the company's strong balance sheet, disciplined operating performance, robust enterprise risk management and continued focus on innovation. 

"Maintaining our A (Excellent) rating with a stable outlook reflects the disciplined decisions, strong execution and long-term focus that continue to strengthen our business," said Andrea Hecht, chief financial officer of CSAA Insurance Group. AM Best again assigned CSAA its highest assessment for balance sheet strength, citing the company's strong capitalization and financial flexibility. The rating agency also reaffirmed the company's robust enterprise risk management program. The company continues to invest in capabilities, technology and innovation that strengthen the business and enhance the customer experience. 

The A (Excellent) rating applies to the entire CSAA Insurance Group, including its insurance subsidiaries.
